Cheddar-Chive Biscuits


2 cups spelt flour
4 teaspoons baking powder 
1 tablespoon zero-calorie sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1/4 cup chopped chives or green part of scallions
2/3 cup milk

Preheat oven to 425° F. Knead dough 14 times and roll out until 1/2 inch thick. Cut in circles or squares. Bake 15-20 minutes, until golden.
