Most meals are enhanced by sauces, chutneys, or dips set out on the table in small glass bowls. Since he was quite small, our son has been known to us as “condiment boy”, because he never met a condiment he didn't like. If it could be sprinkled on, poured over, or dipped into, he wanted some!

Sometimes, the condiments are tasty meal enhancers; in other cases, they are an essential part of the flavouring of a dish. And on tapas nights, they are the meal!
