2 cups cooked chick peas (one 540ml can)
2 teaspoons (generous) minced garlic
1 tablespoon tahini
2 tablespoons olive oil
1–2 tablespoons lemon or lime juice
½–¾ teaspoon sea salt
0 to ½ cup water (as required and only if necessary)
Purée in food processor until extremely smooth and creamy, usually at least 5 to 10 minutes.
